About me
I earned my PhD in Computer Science in May, 2022 from the University of Southern California, where I developed and applied expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and statistics to projects in Computational Social Science, interpretability, and bias research in NLP. Most recently, I was employed as a ML engineer in Applied Research at Twitter, within the Content Understanding Research team, before I was laid off in November 2022.
Currently, I am seeking new opportunities in ML and NLP, where I can use my extensive research experience and engineering skills to conduct novel applied research and impact products in a meaningful way.
To prospective employers, I bring a combination of scientific acumen — as evidenced by my record of published work in prestigious conferences in NLP and journals in the social sciences — with significant technical training in data science, NLP, and ML.
